In 2001 Bally celebrated their 150th anniversary.  The company is headquartered in Caslano on Switzerland's Lake Lugano, near Milan, Italy.  Under the guidance of CEO Marco Franchini and his international design team they completely redefined the company's image and product offering. Production of the core shoe business takes place in Caslano while development and coordination of accessory production is done in Florence and ready-to-wear is developed in Ancona.

In 2008 Bally was acquired by LABELUX from TPG Capital.
